Steve H. the superTX of Vx97 is actually manufactured by AMD and is a cross between the VP2 and VP3 chipsets (as I explained to fuchi). The chipset is a VIA design and that's what AMD got from their deal with VIA (now that it is a broken deal). So in short: Carries AMD's name. Designed by VIA. is a mid-point between VP2 and VP3.
