I often think the very same thing. I can't tell you how many times I've thought of selling all my portfolio and putting it in a Swiss bank. The only reason I haven't is some irrational faith that when all is said and done, this country will be able to triumph over these seemingly intractable problems we face. If any country can do it, we can. But I'll tell you that my faith in this country has been frayed over the last 8 years. I can't tell you how pissed off I am that we've gone from $4 trillion to $10 trillion in debt in 8 years. Just inexcusable.
