Corporations don't pay taxes.

Its customers pay them.



In an absolute sense that's true...in a relative sense however market dynamics play a significant role in how much a corporation keeps of its profits. No company has the absolute power to pass on all costs to consumers...although this industry comes pretty damn close to having that power.

If you eliminated the corporate income tax tomorrow, the price of gasoline at the pump would drop by 40% tomorrow.

If we also eliminated enough expense to make up for the balance our deficits, without harming the ability of the country to function as a civilized society, i'd be in favor tax reductions...of course.
