Flight 191 was way too close to the ground for a parachute to work, but I think you have a very good idea. I know I'd feel safer knowing the plane was equipped with one as long as everyone on board gets to go to that section before its deployed. I wonder if anyone has ever carried a parachute on to a plane just in case?
