I am happy with the current situation.For years I have had to invest with this time bomb ticking under me.At least it is now out of the way.Greenspan made me a gambler as I never knew when things would blow up.I also knew that this bomb would hurt countries like Brazil and posted these concerns.The credit bubble also distorted prices and allowed money losing businesses to pay huge salarys to those who did not deserve them.Why should companies like MCI have lost investors millions and paid their staff millions?Why should builders be rewarded for putting resources and capital into bricks and block on empty lots ,that still cost energy and resources to maintain, and produce nothing (Even the NASDQ bubble left us with technology inovation although it was not cost effective).The bubble resulted in an elite that did not earn what they received.Why is this any different than the Soviet elite in their Dachas?We have been living lies in this country.Dont tell me it was one political party or the other as both were involved.Obama was as much in bed with Fannie Mae as any other politician.Savers were forced to underwrite the gamblers.I have known in my country a little bit of what the Soviet intellectuals felt.When you read and think and learn enough to see the lies around you,you become a threat to those who profit from the lies.Even the nationalists that dont benifit from the lies ,become so blinded that they support the very system that is bringing their country down.Posters like TJ ,who see us from the outside,offer us valuable feedback.Look at us,financial news casters who cheer and clap at efforts to hold up a banking system where 2/3 of banks are not needed.Money to be spent on auto makers who have spent 30 years not making needed changes.Support for builders who should not build a house for the next 10 years.We are paying the price for 25 years of lies.You can not create wealth from thin air.Lets get this thing over with.I am an optomist!
