Many of the illegals are going back to Mexico as the US economy cools. The border fence is also having some small effect, that started before the economy really dropped.

I would not wager on the "Hispanics", but on the non-hispanic Northern Europeans. The northern europeans have numbers, weapons, and skills. Also, less Roman Catholic influence to restrain the nastiness. Also history - now where did we put those smallpox blankets ?
