I feel sure that our failure to maintain perhaps the highest level of cleanliness is attributable to our artistic temperament, don't you? We just have so many more important things to do that trivial, mundane, delta-brain type activities exist outside of our sphere of recognition. That embroidered pillow that was popular a few years ago was designed with us in mind -"A clean house is a sign of a wasted life." EVen my good friend Jan, she of the clean white football pants, gave me a mug for my birthday that said "Messy house, Warm heart." I prefer to think of our home as "comfortable and lived-in." Of course, I do have a certain facility with fantasy.
