You would nationalize an entire sector of the economy, when the government has never shown that it can manage anything efficiently. Well, except extort money from politically less-favored people to pay off politically more-favored people.

Perhaps not coincidentally, the one agent you exclude is the physician. Your health care utopia would have no doctors left. Good luck with it.
