Remember, please, that I still have hundreds sitting on my desk. The revenue potential is enormous. If we were to close just 10% of them, we'd still bring in millions.
I think we should probably put more emphasis on the fact that we've remediated 50% of the entire computer population in the town of Ottumwa, Iowa. Maybe we could leave out the fact that there are only 2 computers there. And, the fact that the one we 'remediated' was an Apple II. And, that the Apple II is only used to automatically turn on the lights at the City Hall at 7:00pm every night ... regardless of what day or year it is.
And, maybe we should leave out the fact that it was Ottumwa, Iowa. I mean, whoever heard of it, anyway? We could also make a big deal about being in final negotiations with the other 50%. If we can just find some hearing aid batteries for the old goat who owns that IMSAI 80, we could probably convince him he needs to sign with us.
Maybe it's best to use your comment ... FBN has never lost a Y2K contract. That's definitive ... an absolute statement. How many other Y2K companies can make the same claim? Oooops ... better not say that ... there could be a few that haven't lost any ... just because they've never gotten to the negotiation stage.
Gosh, I hope this Friday's open pre-IPO shareholders' meeting to determine the final IPO date goes well. I spent a fortune on hot dogs and chips. And, I had to use my own personal cash, of all things. Couldn't find the Corporate Credit Card. Now, who did I lend that to ???
