not only are GM and Ford unable to come up with new models, they also have pricing strategy problems. Their fleet is so boring they have convinced themselves that 30K (all inclusive) is the top pricepoint for a mass market car.

These electric models out here like Fisker are starting at 70K, which is more in line with the cost of a car vs average wages in the 70s and before. Its almost like there is no out of box thinking at GM, on any issue even pricing strategy. This does not mean Fisker or Tesla will emerge as competitive companies, but it is EXCITING seeing them drive by! When was the last time anybody was excited seeing a new GM model drive by.

Whatever Lutz makes, it is too much. The companies out here like Tesla were funded by the same people running the company like Musk. Is Lutz putting his own fortune on the line for GM?
