Questions were raised by democrats about McCain's eligibility too. He answered all questions openly, provided arguments in his favor, provided any documentation asked for.

Contrast that with Obama. He refused to provide ANY documentation about his birth(that thing posted on his web site does not count and there are questions about its authenticity anyway), and has never even acknowledged the controversy. His campaign workers took the attitude that it was an insult that anyone even asked the question.
