<Yes, exactly the words the people spoke in 1938 when they were warned about hitler...<g>> True... except everyone could see that Hitler could (had the capability) to attack Britain (I presume you're talking about Chamberlain... ), or those with treaties WITH Britian that would automatically bring them in. In the Iraq there never was any way Saddam could have attacked us... This appeasing Hitler stuff is just ignorant talking points made up after the fact to justify a mistake. If Bush had said... "ooops, we made a mistake, but we have to follow through for a while and do our best on the way out"... he would have been telling the truth and history would be MUCH kinder to him... in fact HE might have been sighted as a great new beginning of US foreign policy down the road. As it is, that medal will no doubt be draped around Obama's neck. DAK
