To All: I received a letter from Michael J. Higgins, VP Finance, dated 8/26/96 in which he passed on the following information: The PRO 2000 safety studies in Belgium are moving forward with expectation they will be completed late this fall. The company is also awaiting results from preclinical testing for irritation on a new topical microbicide (intervaginal gel) that is under development. The results of this testing are due end of August, and will determine whether they pursue clinical trials.
