"* Cornstarch: Tacos, tortillas, corn chips, cornbreads, gravies, breakfast cereals."

I'm having trouble figuring out what to make of this. He's often mentioned "cornstarch," which is a thickener that can also be used on the skin like talcum powder. But then he gives examples of foods that don't have cornstarch as an ingredient. There is no cornstarch in tacos or cornbread. I've made both of them from scratch. Tacos are simply corn flour and water.

So I've been assuming he simply means "corn," which happens to be a starchy food and which is sometimes found in processed food in the form of "cornstarch." But he keeps saying "cornstarch," which is confusing.

Anybody able to interpret this?
