tim .get real ,all you have said is that there were loop holes....do you think loop holes did not exist in the 20s. i have supplied specific examples...tax rates gdp....and income as percent of gdp... you on the other hand seem only capable of repeating the mantra of there are " lots of loopholes.2 name and quantify those loop holes please..... ps..your best bet would be to try business expences which were very generous in the 50s...but i doubt you will find they were generous enough to make up for the tax rate .
