"...Shares of Discovery Laboratories Inc. plunged in afterhours trading Friday after the company said regulators would not make a decision on its respiratory drug until next April at the earliest.
The Food and Drug Administration asked Discovery for more information about its drug Surfaxin in May, and the company responded in September. No new clinical trials were required..."
