And you and steve are repeating the popular myth promoted by conservatives that you can lower taxes and somehow that will increase revenues sufficiently to prevent financial difficulties. Bush cutting taxes led to record tax revenues. Too bad the drunken sailors couldn't cut their spending habits. Step up to the plate ted and post your own opinion of how tax increases by Obama, coupled with higher spending will be any different. Who says there is going to be higher spending? That has yet to be determine....or don't you think there is any fat in the Republican budgets?
