John, again I thank our Father for men such as yourself and David, for this world would be a pretty dismal place to be without men of your caliber. Praise God!
Let us delight in the Lord for only He is all good, worthy, and righteous, and only He is deserving of all our praise, blessed be His holy name. There is none other, He is the only true God, He is the mighty one of Israel, the Alpha and the Omega. He will come again in all His glory to judge the living and the dead. This time He will not come on a lowly donkey, but on a mighty white stallion, and He will once and for all come as The King of Kings and Lord Of Lords! And all will see His glory, and they who believed not will marvel at the presence of our King, and every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord. Even so come Lord Jesus, Amen!
The "gap theory", have you studied it?
It is when Jesus came into Nazareth and went into the synagogue, as was His custom, and He began to preach, and began to read Isaiah 61:
THE Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19 and then our Lord closed the book! In the MIDDLE OF A SENTENCE!...
The rest of the scripture reads;
".... and the day of vengeance of our God;to comfort all that mourn; Is 61: the rest of v.2
Our Lord Jesus read in the synagogue on that day all of the reasons He came the first time. Glory to His name.
The rest of Isaiah, which He did not read, has yet to happen! It will hapeen at His Second coming! Oh how perfect is the word of God!
In the middle of a sentence!... Therefore the "gap theory".......... He is an awesome God.!
