I'll offer this link as something that could be helpful: It's been mentioned before by others and by me. Consuelo Mack on her WealthTrack show gets some interesting guests and has some interesting discussions. I have her show downloaded to my iPod. wealthtrack.com Alternatively or additionally, if one wants to more quickly ooch out the gems and skip through the talk, transcripts of the latest two shows are always made available for free under the transcripts spot: wealthtrack.com The Nov 7 show (It was in the transcripts a few hours ago, now has mysteriously disappeared.) included an interview with Seth Glickenhaus. I've been a follower of this old guy (he's 94 -g-) for at least a decade. He's a very, very good value investor imo. (How guys that age buy stock for the long term (their long term?) amazes me - Buffett, Glickenhaus, Philip Carret (before he died at 101), Graham). Mr. Glickenhaus mentioned that NOW is the time to commit money to stocks (at least somewhat) and he mentioned three that he liked. Two were Navios Marine [t]NM[/t] and Eagle Bulk Shipping [t]EGLE[/t] because many of their ships were charted long-term on fixed rates. I hold a few losing shares of NM and added a few more shares today. I also have a losing position in EGLE and will add to that if the stock drops back to near lows on no adverse news. His third pick was EPD - a pipeline company. I'll pass on that one. Looks like it might be worth a looksee for others though based on his viewpoint of it. I've got several lp's already, and because I dread the USA tax k-1 forms I'm going to be receiving, I'm not so anxious to add yet another with EPD.
