Although you were not addressing me, this is a public board, so I'll share... I also put money into the QQQ. I lost $$$$ there, but I made up for it with the 2003 call and other Brinker advice. I also listened to Brinker when he said to not risk one's CM, so I'm still doing ok. down about 20% YTD, but hanging in there. I'm a little disappointed in this year, but I chose my portfolio as opposed to, say, CD's. The biggest disappointment for me hasn't been my stocks, but part of my bond holdings which went down over 30%. Basically Charles Schwab has some performance issues with their bond funds. SWYSX and SWYPX.
