Thanks for the elaborate report - Today I tried to convince a shipping company who also owns RE in Germany to start selling the yielding properties and prepare to buy general cargo ships by summer - response they are afraid to do it - which in my book means that we are close to the bottom of this cycle.

In another instance another client tried to convince me that the world commerce will come to a standstill and hunger will prevail and only then the world will decide to switch to the gold standard

Now in both instances during spring this year the shipping company complained that they are sorry of not owning more ships and the guy thinking now of the gold standard explained me then that commodities will go trough the roof

so much for contrarian indicators
