Chrysler has better cars than GM, but they need more small cars. Maybe they can show GM how to do it if they merge.

It's a difficult problem. These companies' brand is damaged. It takes a long time to repair a brand name, even with the best cars int the world. The advantage Nissan had in its turn around is that their brand was intact.
