Equal protection has been interpreted in our age as providing equal civil rights for all. We do progress even if some people refuse to participate in progress.

Women engage in combat. I don't see why women shouldn't be in combat and I would support any lawsuit that gets rid of the military's ban. I know many women who are much tougher than most men and many women have much greater endurance than men in general.

We have made a great deal of progress in the last half century in regards to women, we should continue with that idea.
