The demand for American cars will not go away. If GM and Ford collapse, they can rebuild. Sometimes that's the only way to fix a mess. The suppliers can find new customers. At least those who can adapt. My guess is that about half a million jobs might be affected ... max. That's going to be painful, but better than postponing the pain or propping up industries that are abject failures in their current form. Tenchusatsu
