You are entitled to your opinion, of course. However, I chose Obama and Biden, because not only are they both more intelligent than McCain and Palin, but they have the right policies for the problems this country faces. The top 3 I care about are 1) oil independence and alternative energy, 2) withdrawal from Iraq, and 3) a return to the tax structure of the 1990s to get these deficits under control. To get those three things, I had to vote Democrat this time around. So be it.

When the Republicans reform and get back to small government with an emphasis on muscular economics, instead of their muscular foreign policies that bankrupt this country, and when they start selecting candidates that the majority of us can look up to and believe they are more intelligent than ourselves, then I will vote Republican again.

Here's the thing, Ann. I don't want me in the White House. I want someone better than me. Don't try to shove Joe Sixpack down my throat. Give me the nerdy guy who was at the top of his class and was successful in his/her chosen profession and in life. That is who I want in the White House. I want winners to lead us, not losers. Right now, the Republicans are picking losers. So it shouldn't be any surprise they aren't winning elections.
