don't know if you saw the memo, china down 70% this year, russia has multiple days of closing the exchange when it's down 12% on the day. Emerging markets have been destroyed.

she is not a market expert, but a political expert, on who to talk to in various governments to get things done.

I says she's a diluted version of Kissenger and Associates, very smart folks especially in understanding who to talk to in the myriad countries around the world. You notice that Kissenger never put out a shingle as a hedge fund/private equity fund etc.

She's a strategist. Works in RealPolitik..... not RealCapital Market Operations.

Albright is a principal of The Albright Group LLC, a global strategy firm, and chair and principal of Albright Capital Management LLC, an investment advisory firm focused on emerging markets

raised $329 million to invest in emerging markets, joining the ranks of former dignitaries who have entered the lucrative world of private fund management

I'd love to see her fund's performance since it's inception date....... probably was smart enough not to deploy money into the markets and focus on a fee based advisory service.

You don't lose money from adverse market moves when you just provide advice and access..... This she can do in spades.

except access to the Sultan of Brunei...... may get you your next tier of funding for Morgan Stanley, MER fill in the blank, most of this Sovereign wealth funds have bought into rapidly declining markets.

Yes, they have money/had money (Dubai?)..... do they understand what is happening on a Global Macro Basis....well

John
