Great idea, good luck! What really bothers me is that if I, as the parent, don't discuss who I vote for or try to influence his beliefs why do the teachers? I think its bad policy. Yes, it's not appropriate at all and the school has a responsibility to make sure when it does happen, they take measures to make sure it doesn't happen again and I'm not talking about a slap on the wrist either.
