LOL! My FIL's family was for generations from VT, and were descended from Puritans who came to MA in the 1630's for 3 generations, then to CT for 3 more, then to VT... I heard FIL say "Jeezum." on occasion. He really didn't swear, or VERY seldom anyway, and that was as close really as he ever got to it....I even heard Jeezum Crow a couple of time, just for added emphasis. One was when he pounded his thumb instead of the nail with a heavy hammer.... He certainly never took the Lord's name in vain....His mother would probably have thumped him 'a good one' if he ever had....
