David Brooks was likely a closet Obama supporter from day 1. The Obamanites bashed Romney, bashed Giuiliani, bashed the Arkansas Hope candidate-----the others they left alone----while espousing only good remarks about McCain. Interesting how they went for bashing all of the strong candidates, while leaning toward McCain. The biggest mistake that McCain made was letting the Obama dude pull a fast one by telling him he would agree with McCain to take public financing via the check off on the IRS form. McCain ended up being the poorly financed candidate while Obama took funds from all sources. The good news is that these three have survived and will be back another day in some capacity. No doubt the RNC will never make that mistake again. They should understand that they have to be just as greedy as Obama was. mj
