I believe that pretty much ANY sensible person would accept that faulty, or ill-considered, or over regulation would not be desirable.

Just as having NO 'Cops on the beat' or NO regulations at all would be at least as ill advised.

(Sounds to me like Soros' statement was mostly boilerplate and ordinary.... Still, he has *always been* a world-class and highly successful CAPITALIST. I don't see why that should surprise you any.)
