Here is a good extracurricular exercise you two can participate in over the next year or two. Print the post out from the link below and keep it some place near his or your study area. Watch and see what happens. When the promises are broken, you can discuss them with Jr. and make decisions based on their value or importance. Why the President said one thing and did another, and do research on line regarding each issue etc. This could be an accelerated lesson in civics and Jr will be way ahead of his class when/if he actually has a class on American Politics.
