What is the old guard Just what did the real Republican Party look like? Dewey? Eisenhower? Goldwater? Nixon? Reagan? Bush41? You and the younger generation are too young to remember and comprehend the late 40's, 50's, 60's, and most of the 70's when my generation experienced and learned about Communism, the Berlin Wall, the Weathermen, the PLO, the Cold War, etc. IMO the younger generation suffers from a serious lack of education in Civics and history of USA during those 4 decades. Most families don't take the time at the dinner table or otherwise to discuss events - current and/or the past! The *younger generation* voted for what they can get from the Federal Government without working. They are in trouble.
