11/14/08 update
Yet another wild roller coaster week, the dives regrettably being more numerous than the climbs. At Friday's closing bell, the Nasdaq Composite Index was down -42.81% YTD (vs. -37.89% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Biotech Index was down -15.62% YTD (vs. down -12.99% YTD a week ago). And the Contest portfolio median closed down -38.46% YTD (vs. down -32.38% YTD a week ago).
At week's end, once again just 1 of the 33 portfolios was in the black YTD, with 5 of the 33 beating the NBI. Contest leader Gene's portfolio closed the week up 43.9% YTD, with No. 2 ROBERT's portfolio closing down -9.9% YTD.
Have a fun weekend folks!
