Yes, that too! Brilliant and on the same mark: Justice. i was glad to hear Martin Scorcese views Sergio Leone as the greatest maker of "Westerns" ever.
He talked of how Leone carried a thousand westerns in his head that he had seen over his life(he,Leone was a true passionate fan of amercan westerns) and blended them into his own vision.
Also the creative marriage between Leone and Morricone was like a "miracle".
i read where Morricone wrote his compositions by hand simultanously as he WATCHED the movie--that is unadulterated genius( to be given a great gift).
o yes, Scorcese said also to watch a Leone movie is akin to a silent movie, his space between lines can be so long--it leads to the viewer getting mesmerized.
Music/ magnificient visuals/editing and words scattered about.
