ah, the return of public ed bashing... here's something (a level above opinion) by bracey, who's researched public ed for years and years:

you may also want to search bracey for research about international comparisons or public vs. private schools. in brief, international comparisons are commonly misinterpreted and private schools are not better than public schools.
