No. My Lai was in no way an attempt to "intimidate or coerce" anyone. It was a war atrocity. Just like the atrocities that have occurred in practically every war ever fought. There was no connection between the events of My Lai and the political intent behind the war.

If you can't see the difference you have your head up your ass.
