Thanks, When you mentioned.. Try to keep tip speed below speed of sound.. I have the impression the goal is far lower actually and that you were suggesting that as a regular limitation.. ..One of the first turbines in Canada is at Pickering Nuclear plant which I can see from my home when I walk the dogs down by the lake (or go to the mall :0) One of the most asked questions from the public in the early days (it's been many years now I guess) was Why is it always off when it is windy

Of course anyone that has flown a kite knows that answer :O)
