M,
The way to keep financial markets honest is to convert fraudsters, thieves, embezzlers and crooks into organ donors.

All those CEO's etc... that have lead us to this crisis .. (yes with the help of lots of greed at the grassroots level...) Are they living large despite their actions or in prison ?

The US financial system is coming to be viewed by anyone (OK too general, let's say very many) outside the US as one of the most utterly corrupt.. Why do you think foreign criminals set up shop in droves ? Oh that's right they did nail Martha Stewart LOL.

As an aside it was amusing to hear all the G20 resolutions about cleaning up the world's financial systems.. Didn't most of this originate in the US ? :O)

Geez... Paulson as treasury secretary... Isn't that like the fox running the hen house..

hmmmm..
The Black Swan

Edit... looks like elmat is going to let you back into the party for the new year ... I'll tune in again over there then for fun, it's not the same without you.. :O)
