For bottom fishers a viable strategy is to sell puts. I believe the company may in fact remain viable for the next several months and sold the Jan 5 puts at 2 7/8 today. My rationale 1) S&P B rating made by reasonable evaluators who concluded bonds were viable(downgrade not much of a considertion at this juncture) and 2) unless executives want to lose lawsuits big time they had better be able to support statement that they have liquidity until first quarter 0f 98(JAN-MAR 98). I am betting(pure gamble) that stock stays above 2 1/8.
