No, you were right about the sociopath part, for most pols. I certainly think Bush was a sociopath, and maybe Clinton - and Nixon.

I remember first learning about sociopaths in Abnormal Psychology 101. The prof told us that fortunately, most of them end up in prison. I asked, "What happens to the sociopaths that are smart enough to avoid that fate?" CEO's, Pols, and assholes at all levels was the answer. Having no moral conscience is an advantage in some jobs..
