Paul, I agree with your hope of a 40 dollar price in late 1997,that would be a tidy profit for me.If stock goes lower I can buy more and dollar average,as I seem to miss too many opportunities waiting for rock bottom price.AMAT is definitely a long term proposition.Company Fundamentals look good,so they should profit even in hard times.Layoffs may be a good thing and I assume bad news is already factored into current stock price.Market herd psychology is a good thing to play against,as sometimes a pretty penny is made by buying after the selloff.Hoping selloff is over. Optimistically yours, Matt.
