The Kos post was a bullshit attempt at misdirection, trying to get peoples eyes off the ball. The loans are the problem. Had the lenders required appropriate equity and cash flow, a market downturn would not have started a free fall. This is characteristic in ALL markets where inappropriate leverage is employed. Nothing unusual about it.
