Among Baidu news today: BEIJING (XFN-ASIA) - Baidu.com Inc (BIDU:$140.1075,$-38.7825,-21.68%) , the leading Chinese language Internet search provider, is selling search linkss to medical companies with unsubstantiated claims for their products, China Central Television (CCTV) reported. The report said Baidu's algorithm has helped companies making such claims to achieve strong search rankings. According to the report, over 100 mln users now use Baidu's search service every day. Asked for comment by XFN-Asia, Baidu said: "Search results are not influenced by the bid ranking service." It did not comment on the medical claims made by some companies. Baidu said it will release a detailed statement tomorrow.
