There you go again, jumping to the worst conclusion, accusing Honey and I of posting something that jumps to conclusions, where if you looked at the site in question you would see that it claims the portfolios are "directed" by Bob Brinker. Brinker advertises the service in his newsletters so I assume he approves of how they advertise their relationship.

I know (I think I know) the new company is using brinker's portfolios and market timing; what I don't know is whether Brinker has any control or influence over other company decisions.

I don't jump to conclusions like you and honey tend to do.

What word would YOU use to fill in the blank?

I believe it could be called fraud since it advertises something as better than it was get fees, but since I am not a lawyer who would know the legal definition in California, I'll call it "highly deceptive."

The ad bragging about Brinker's recent "all in buys" in the 1200s is the equivalent of saying a new GM Hummer gets 50MPG without saying that was letting it roll down the hill from Tahoe to Sacramento.
