Big spenders By donsurber on Politics Only 13 state governments are not running huge deficits, the New York Times reported. 10 of them (maybe 11; Missouri is still undecided) voted for John McCain. 2 of them (maybe 3) voted for Barack Obama. Put another way, 37 states are running deficits as high as $26 billion (in California). 27 of them went for Obama. 10 of them went for McCain. Make of it what you will. blogs.dailymail.com
