Nov 17, 2008 (Globes - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- PTNR \| Quote \| Chart \| News \| PowerRating -- Sources inform "Globes" that Partner Communications (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR is set to launch a major marketing campaign ahead of its entry into the inland fixed-line telephony market. The company will be contacting hundreds of thousands of its customers with an offer to sign up for the new services ahead of their official launch within the next few weeks. The move is designed to prevent Partner's customers from committing themselves to service contracts with rival providers offering attractive packages.
