I'm not trying to sell you on Communicator, but I have been quite pleased and much happier than with the IE3. The e-mail integration is pretty good. The only thing I don't like actually is that they don't remember login/password if you want - a minor time saver for me that I miss. But that's about it. I haven't looked at IE4 though, so I guess that the mail should be much better than before.

As to download requests at MSFT, I would suspect that there was enough pain in IE3 that IE4 would cause a lot of interest.

They did a short piece on CPQ this morning talking about how MSFT threatened to pull their Windows license, if they put the NSCP icon on the desktop. Pretty brazen. Despite Dwight's defense of MSFT, Reno, at least this time is right, imo. It is "not only illegal, but just plain wrong."
