I know of two companies, one major and one minor, that are revisiting plans to expand or build new plants in the USA. Why? Because the trend reversal in the dollar has concerned them that the regional advantages of location in the States might be a risk if the dollar continues to advance.

This is an example of how this bullshit dollar rally is actually costing real jobs in the USA. Those jobs are desperately needed now and could help with our trade imbalance.

Even the company I work for is struggling with some expansion plans. These were absolutely a target just six months ago, but if the dollar continues to strengthen, then all the advantage will be gone.
