Baird; Fear it is. But the market these days is not just the old push and pulls of the bulls and bears anymore. It seems to be infested with mean spirited people who are not just satisfied with making money, but are also intent on discouraging people to make money too. A couple of illustrations from this past week. CDG was driven down to the mid 60's before they released crushing earnings; CREAF was brought down to 20.5 yesterday before they released earnings of 75 cents a share for the quarter. Lots of other examples, but the fact is that lower prices before earnings used to be due to a leak of information -- now its a game. I would guess that low volume with low price before earnings might be the telling factor. Good Luck :-)
