Mark:

I was intrigued by your comments of moving in and out of PTEC and really never thought much about that movement. I've been an owner for
about a year and share some of Tom's frustrations too. I decided to unload 50% of my position last August 2nd at 17 1/4 (in at 12) and have had a buy order in for several months at 13. I too would sell at
20 if the opportunity presents itself. I have been impressed with its resistance to downward pressure in this confusing market to such an
extent that I am considering buying more in the 14-15 range for the
reasons you stated. I'm most interested in the bond with Intel and I
personally hope and see an acquisition in their future. I was not aware of a similar situation at SYSF, do you have additional details?
Tom, I am trying to decide if you are bitter that someone would consider trading PTEC &/or voicing contrary opinions on this thread,
could you clarify? Personally I have been trying to develop my own
investing style and have set a goal of 20% in each stock I invest in
after all commissions. I don't always bail out but I may lighten up
and look to get back in. I have missed some additional moves but have
found I have locked in more value and retained more equity by missing
these periods of price erosion. Just my two cents.
